Last friday I learned about abbreviation and note taking. It was not easy for me, but I think it's important in listening part.
When I took a TOEFL class, one of my classmates usually doesn't take note, but he can remember lots of information, so I try doing like him but it was not good for me, because I have bad memory. Therefore, note taking is essential for me.
In class, I had a problem. After abbreviating some words, I couldn't remember what it means, because it was my first time to make abbreviation. At that time, I think I should practice a lot.
After reading a book, I recognized importance of note taking and learned some hints on note taking.
I think common signal words is really important key to catch a point.
In order to get a good score in listening part, I should make and remember my own symbols and abbreviations. I think it could help me to find an answer easily.

I learnd note taking skills on friday. First I made my own abbreviations of words and then I exercised by listening the words. Finally I listened some full sentences and took notes. I think Most important thing is that abbreviation is only for you so you don't need to make someone understand.
Our memory cannot help forgetting something so people need to take notes. Note taking also has skills.
Note taking is different depends on purpose and if you know some tips you can note more esier. I think the most important thing is practice. practice makes you perfect.

I learned about abbreviation and note taking at last Friday. Actually, It was my first time to study about TOEFL. So, it's not easy to me. Also same with listening. And I think abbreviation was the best part in lecture. It's hard to remember accurately. But if I'll practice about abbreviation that's very useful when I take the test.
And After reading a book I learned new vocabulary and standard symbols about abbreviation. And memory is important When I saw the new vocabulary or something new in the book.

I learned the way to use standard symbols and abbreviation in priority. After I listend to a list of words, I had to write abbreviations of words. This was to what I had to do this class. At first, I couldn't write anything, but I could understand abbreviations and symbols as time went on. It's a big change for me.

I remember note taking and abbreviation. It is listening skill that helps me during the test. But I don’t know what information is important and how I use abbreviation yet.
However, I learned understanding is the most important than use abbreviation. Because of if I don’t understand passage, I can’t use note taking skills especially abbreviation.
After reading the Listening Tutorial part, I learned that there are difference between TOEFL note taking and University note taking and some hints on taking notes. It is important that TOEFL note taking is used immediate after listening. So I can use abbreviations and omit words freely.

This part is about note taking.
On the TOEFL iBT, we have to prepare papers to use for taking notes. we will have to take notes on both conversations and both lectures during the test. Without note taking, it has a restriction to solve a question perfectly.
Note taking skills can definitely be improved by practice.

If we read this sentences and understand, it will be a great help to learned persons.
I think the most important thing of this parts is to endless efforts to improve our ability.

From the lecture on last Friday, I learned about note taking.
First step is making my own abbreviation. I didn't know what abbreviation means before the lecture.
But it is very simple.
It means a short version of the word like symbol.
After listening whole sentences,summarize it by using my own abbreviation in short.
I think the most important thing is you don't have to write full sentences when you listen.
Instead write the key point word by using abbreviation.
After reading the book I learned that note taking is very heplful to increase
my listening score.
The most important thing is practice can be imporove my note taking skills.

I learned about note taking in the last class. When taking notes, I need to make abbreviations. I understood an abbreviation is a short version of the word. I thought many abbreviations are very interesting and useful.
After accomplishing my duty of arms, my listening skill is very bad. I should memorize many abbreviations for TOEFL iBT. I have to listen and practice many times.

Because of the limitations of human memory, We had better take notes. Note taking is a complicated skill. Especially, TOEFL note taking must be more detailed and intensive than any class note taking. Some hints on taking notes are very useful for me. For example, catching clues, concerning common signal words, organizing my notes, using standard symbols and abbreviations,etc.
I think that practice is very important. Note taking skills can be improved by practice. I must have my own style of taking notes.

Last friday I learned that how to abbreviate sentence with my own abbreviations , while listening to the some Audio MP3 files.
I think that the most important thing is well-designed abbreviations.there are so many kinds of similar words.
If I do not arrange abbreviations well, it will be confused.
2)I learned that how to contract time and how to abbreviate words.
The most importaint thing is Practice.and I need so much practice.

Through last week's class, I again realize the important of note taking during the Toefl listening and a lecture.
I particularly remember that everyone has his or her own style of taking notes. For example, I was
abbreviated "T.T" for "depression" word. I think that note taking should be done accurately and intensively.
With regard to second question,I would like to answer like the following sentence.
After reading p.149-154,some hints on taking notes are very conducive for me.Among 12 hints, I remember that there is no "perfect" notes.
Because,we can not write whole words because of faster lecture's speaking speed compared to our wrinting speed.

1)Last lecture,even though I used abbreviatons,It was so hard to remember the perpect sentences
so I thought that I really needed to get familar to use abbreviation

I remmember having a note taking last friday. It was kinda difficult for me to do it at first
but after you taught me how to do it and demonstrate it to me it was easy as a hell.(Just Kidding)
To tell the truth, when i first did the note taking i try to write down every word i hear but that was impossible and very uneffective
However after i saw how you make it i got an idea.
I learn lot of thing after i read the book. But I think the most important thing is that there is no perfect note. As the book said everyone has their own style.

I learned taking note of TOEFL test listening part. It was difficult for me to abbreviate the long sentence what I listened.
I think It will be need to listening ability and concentration. I'll have to practice note taking steadily to get a high grade.
I felt after reading this book , there is difference between TOEFL note taking and class note taking. we must omit unimportant words and write important point briefly within limited time.

I remember we were trying to make sentences using abbreviations about most common forms about business structures. And I think make some abbreviations of my own way is most important. Which is I learned from last lecture.
I think #12 from the some hints on taking notes is important. I learned that I don't have to worry about my note-taking. Because everyone has different way to note-taking. So if I won't forget about three issues in #12, it will be ok even though my way is little different.

I learned note-taking and abbreviation last friday. i made my own abbreviation but if i don't use it, i will forget them. so i keep trying to use them. I think we cannot memory everthing when we listen. so note-taking is very effective, especially for test.
when i listened, i noticed there were unfamailar words in the text. Also i thought that if i don't know those words, i cannot hear them. For the listening score, being familiar with those words is very important.^^

-I'm so sorry that I missed the deadline.
1)I learned exactly about Note-taking last friday. I always write down all words when I listen to the English. But I realized that this is not a good way. When we have a test, there is a time limitation. So we have to save the time. When we write down the words fast, abbreviation is the important note-taking way for saving the time. This is only for me. So I can write down the abbreviated words that I can undertand the contents.
2) There are some hints on taking notes in the book. when I attend a English class, usually I don't take note. So I used to miss a lot of information. But now, I got a confidence in note taking after reading these hints. The most important thing in note-taking is that I have to understand the note-taking that I scribbled. If I don't understand what I write down, then.. I will miss the answers. So I have to practice note-taking over and over.
